Give customers a clear "buy more, save more" table on the product page, and apply the discount automatically once their cart quantity qualifies.

== Description ==

Quantity Tier Pricing adds a simple, attractive quantity-discount table to your WooCommerce product pages. Customers pick a quantity — 2, 3, or more — and immediately see the per-unit price, the total, and how much they save.

**The discount applies automatically once the cart quantity qualifies** — whether the customer used this plugin's own selector, your theme's regular "Add to cart" button, or just increased the quantity on the cart page. There's no special "bundle" to add to the cart; it's a real quantity-break discount on the product itself.

= Features (free) =

* Up to 2 quantity tiers per product
* Set an extra discount percentage per tier — automatically combined with any active WooCommerce sale price
* Optional label per tier (e.g. "Most popular")
* Automatic "buy N or more" pricing that works no matter how the customer reaches that quantity
* Self-contained AJAX "Add to cart" button — no page reload
* Works with any WooCommerce-compatible theme
* Compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)
* Built-in "Getting started" page with an auto-detected setup checklist, plus a guided tour of the settings
* Full design controls — colors, badge colors, font sizes, and the "Add to cart" button style (normal/hover/pressed)
* Per-product unit label override (e.g. "month" / "months" instead of "unit" / "units")

= Quantity Tier Pricing Pro =

Need more? [Quantity Tier Pricing Pro](https://mowwax.com/aquantity-tier-pricing) adds:

* Unlimited tiers, with drag-and-drop reordering
* Elementor shortcode support for page builders that don't use the standard WooCommerce template hooks
* WoodMart theme integration options
* A sticky "Buy now" bar

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin files to `/wp-content/plugins/quantity-tier-pricing`, or install directly through the WordPress plugins screen.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Make sure WooCommerce is active.
4. Open any product for editing, go to the "Quantity pricing" tab, enable it, and add your tiers.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does the discount only apply if the customer uses this plugin's selector? =

No. Once the cart quantity for that product reaches a tier's threshold, the discount applies — regardless of how the customer added it to the cart.

= Does this work with an existing sale price on the product? =

Yes. The tier's discount percentage is added on top of the product's current sale discount, and the customer sees the combined percentage.

= Is there a limit on the free version? =

The free version supports up to 2 tiers per product. [Quantity Tier Pricing Pro](https://mowwax.com/aquantity-tier-pricing) removes that limit and adds unlimited tiers, drag-and-drop reordering, the Elementor shortcode, WoodMart theme integration, and a sticky "Buy now" bar.

== External services ==

This plugin does not connect to any external service. All pricing calculations happen in PHP on your own server, using data already stored in your WooCommerce products. It makes no remote requests, sends no data anywhere, and loads no external scripts, fonts, or images — everything it needs (including the small driver.js library used for the optional guided tour) is bundled in the plugin itself.

The only exception is a plain link to https://mowwax.com/aquantity-tier-pricing shown in the admin area, offered as an upgrade option — no data is sent when this link is shown, only when you choose to click it.

== Changelog ==

= 1.9.3 =
* Reverted the "a" prefix — back to "quantity-tier-pricing-lite" for the main file and text domain.

= 1.9.2 =
* Main plugin file and text domain renamed to "aquantity-tier-pricing-lite" (matching the "aQuantity..." display name).

= 1.9.1 =
* Text domain changed to "quantity-tier-pricing-lite" (was "quantity-tier-pricing") to avoid a folder-name collision with the Pro edition on sites running both.

= 1.9.0 =
* Full design controls (colors, badges, button style) and per-product unit label override are now free, with their own "Design settings" page.
* Fixed the "Upgrade to Pro" link pointing to the wrong URL.

= 1.8.2 =
* Security hardening for wordpress.org review: all direct database queries now go through $wpdb->prepare(), and the product-save handler explicitly verifies WooCommerce's nonce and an edit_product capability check.

= 1.8.1 =
* Confirmed tested up to WordPress 7.1.2.

= 1.8.0 =
* Declared compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
* Added WC/WP compatibility header fields ahead of a wordpress.org submission.

= 1.1.0 =
